Zimbabwe Big Five & Rhino Conservation Circuit — 9 Days

Arrival Victoria Falls. Rainforest tour and Zambezi sunset cruise.

Transfer to Hwange with a guided visit to the Painted Dog Conservation Centre — the rehabilitation facility, the anti-snare unit and the collaring programme. Afternoon game drive.

Full day in Hwange targeting lion, wild dog and the pumped-pan elephant herds. Optional walking safari.

Morning drive, then transfer to the Matobo Hills. Afternoon on-foot white rhino tracking in the Whovi intensive protection zone with the park's rhino monitors.

Matobo — San rock art at Nswatugi and Pomongwe, World's View, black eagle viewing, and a session with the anti-poaching team on how rhino are protected in practice.

Drive north-east to the Imire Rhino & Wildlife Conservancy in Mashonaland (approximately 6 hours via Bulawayo–Kwekwe–Harare or a charter flight). Afternoon black rhino encounter, elephant interaction with the hand-raised herd, and the conservancy's breeding and release programme.

Morning at Imire — rhino monitoring on foot and the community and schools outreach project — then transfer south-east to the Save Valley Conservancy.

Full day in Save Valley — one of Africa's largest private conservancies, holding significant black rhino, cheetah, wild dog and lion populations. Morning tracking on foot with the monitoring team, a visit to the anti-poaching base and canine unit, and an afternoon game drive.

Final morning drive, brunch, then transfer or charter to Harare for departure.
