Download itinerary

Nairobi to Lake Naivasha via the Rift Valley escarpment. Afternoon boat safari among hippo and fish eagles, and a walking safari on Crescent Island.

Morning cycling or walking in Hell's Gate National Park through the gorge and past Fischer's Tower, then transfer north to Lake Nakuru. Afternoon game drive for rhino and Rothschild's giraffe.

Morning Nakuru game drive, then north to Lake Bogoria for its geysers and hot springs and the lesser flamingo flocks that have largely relocated here from Nakuru, or to Lake Baringo for a boat safari and outstanding birding.

Long transfer south-west across the Mau escarpment into the Masai Mara. Afternoon game drive on arrival.

Full Mara day with a picnic lunch, the Mara River, lion prides, cheetah and leopard. Optional dawn balloon flight.

Second full Mara day in a different sector, plus a Maasai village visit with a community guide.

Final dawn game drive, then the flight or drive back to Nairobi.
