Day 1 — Depart along the Atlantic Seaboard past Sea Point, Camps
Depart along the Atlantic Seaboard past Sea Point, Camps Bay and Hout Bay, with an optional boat trip to the Duiker Island seal colony. Drive the Chapman's Peak toll road, one of the most spectacular coastal roads in the world. Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point — the funicular or the walk to the old lighthouse, with baboon, eland and bontebok in the fynbos. Seafood lunch at Simon's Town. Afternoon at Boulders Beach with the African penguin colony, then Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden and its Boomslang canopy walkway. Return by 18:00.
