Morning / Arrival – Airport Pickup

Fly into Victoria Falls Airport (VFA) or Livingstone Airport (LVI)

Clear immigration and collect your bags

Meet your representative at arrivals

Representative holds a sign with your name

Load your luggage into the vehicle

Drive to your lodge or hotel

Transfer time: about 20 minutes (VFA) or 15 minutes (LVI)

Brief rest (about 30 to 45 minutes)

Late Morning / Midday – Guided Tour of Victoria Falls

Meet your guide at the hotel reception

Drive to the falls (5 to 10 minutes)

Enter the park (Zimbabwe side or Zambia side – depending on your location)

Zimbabwe Side (Recommended for first-timers)

Walk along the cliff edge (1.7 km)

Main Falls

Rainbow Falls

Danger Point

Eastern Cataract

Learn about history and geology from your guide

Get sprayed – raincoat provided

Tour lasts about 2 to 2.5 hours

Exit the park

Or Zambia Side (if staying in Livingstone)

Enter Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park

Visit Knife's Edge Bridge

Visit Boiling Pot viewpoint

See the David Livingstone statue

Tour lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours

Return to town or lodge

Lunch at a local restaurant

Late Afternoon – Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi River

4:00 PM – pickup from your lodge

Drive to the river jetty (10 to 15 minutes)

Board the boat

Set off at 4:30 PM

Cruise lasts 3 hours (4:30 PM – 7:30 PM)

Birds: fish eagles, kingfishers, herons

Sunset over the Zambezi River

Sky turns orange, gold, and purple

Refreshments

7:30 PM – return to the jetty

Disembark the boat

Transfer back to your lodge

Arrive around 7:45 PM to 8:00 PM

Alternative Option (If Arriving Too Late for Falls Tour)

If your flight arrives after 12:00 PM

You may not have time for the full falls tour

Option: Do the falls tour on Day 2

Do only the sunset cruise on Day 1
