Arrival Nairobi. Afternoon at the Sheldrick elephant orphanage, the Giraffe Centre and the Karen Blixen Museum.
Fly north to Samburu National Reserve. Afternoon game drive on the Ewaso Ng'iro.
Full Samburu day, the 'Special Five' and a Samburu cultural visit.
Transfer to the Laikipia plateau. Afternoon game drive on a private conservancy.
Laikipia, a horseback or camel safari, a walking safari and a star-bed sleep-out.
Transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Afternoon game drive and the northern white rhino.
Ol Pejeta, rhino conservation with the monitoring team, the chimpanzee sanctuary and a night drive.
Transfer to the Aberdare National Park. Overnight at a tree lodge above a floodlit waterhole for elephant, buffalo and bongo.
Morning Mount Kenya foothills and a coffee estate visit, then on to Lake Nakuru. Afternoon rhino game drive.
North to Lake Bogoria for the geysers, hot springs and lesser flamingo flocks.
South to Lake Naivasha. Afternoon boat safari and a Crescent Island walking safari; optional Hell's Gate cycling.

The bridge was built from both sides simultaneously, meeting perfectly in the middle. Construction took 14 months (1904-1905) using steel shipped from England. The arch was assembled on falsework and then dropped into place - a remarkable engineering feat for its time.
Victoria Falls Bridge was completed in 1905 as part of Cecil Rhodes' Cape to Cairo railway vision. It spans 198 meters across the Zambezi Gorge, 128 meters above the river. Designed by Sir Ralph Freeman, it's a steel arch bridge used for rail, road, and foot traffic.
Zimbabwe side weather: Similar to Zambia but slightly hotter in summer. January-March: 25-30°C with rain. April-June: 15-25°C, dry. July-September: 10-25°C, cool nights. October-December: 25-35°C, becoming rainy. The microclimate near the falls is always humid.
It depends: Zimbabwe has more viewpoints and better overall views. Zambia offers unique experiences like Devil's Pool and closer waterfall access. Most visitors recommend seeing both sides if possible. Zimbabwe is better for first-time visitors wanting comprehensive views.
