Arrival Victoria Falls. Rainforest tour of all 16 viewpoints. Zambezi sunset cruise and boma dinner.

Morning Zambezi National Park game drive; afternoon community and village visit, or free time for optional helicopter, rafting and gorge-swing activities.

Transfer to Hwange with a guided visit to the Painted Dog Conservation Centre. Afternoon game drive.

Full day in Hwange, dawn and afternoon drives, guided walking safari.

Second full Hwange day in the Ngamo/Kennedy or Sinamatella sector; floodlit waterhole.

Transfer to the Matobo Hills. Afternoon on-foot white rhino tracking.

Matobo, San rock art at Nswatugi and Pomongwe, World's View, black eagle; afternoon at the Khami Ruins and the Bulawayo Railway and Natural History museums.

Charter or long drive south-east to the lowveld. Afternoon game drive in Gonarezhou beneath the Chilojo Cliffs.

Full day in Gonarezhou, Runde River, Save confluence, Tembwahata Pan, morning walking safari.

Transfer to Save Valley or Malilangwe Conservancy. Black rhino tracking on foot, anti-poaching and canine unit visit, afternoon game drive.

Drive north to Masvingo. Afternoon at Great Zimbabwe; sunset from the Hill Complex.

Full day at Great Zimbabwe, Great Enclosure and conical tower, Valley Ruins, site museum and the Zimbabwe Birds, plus Lake Mutirikwi.

Drive north-east to Nyanga. Ziwa National Monument and Nyangombe Falls.

Nyanga National Park, Mount Nyangani, Pungwe Gorge and Mtarazi Falls; transfer to the Bvumba for a tea-estate tasting.

Bvumba birding and gardens, then drive to Harare. Afternoon at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe for Shona stone sculpture.

Charter or drive to Kariba. Afternoon sunset cruise among the drowned forest; optional tiger fishing.

Charter to Mana Pools. Morning walking safari with an armed professional guide and an afternoon canoe trail on the Zambezi.

Final Mana Pools morning walk and brunch, then charter to Harare for international departure.

February has maximum water flow: The falls are at their most powerful with incredible spray (the "smoke that thunders"). Views may be obscured by mist, but the experience is dramatic. Temperatures are warm (25-30°C) with occasional rain.

Yes, bridge tours are available including: Historical tours explaining construction, engineering tours, and bridge walks. Some include bungee jumping or bridge swinging. Tours typically cost $15-$30 and require booking in advance. Safety equipment is provided.

The bridge was built from both sides simultaneously, meeting perfectly in the middle. Construction took 14 months (1904-1905) using steel shipped from England. The arch was assembled on falsework and then dropped into place - a remarkable engineering feat for its time.

Victoria Falls Bridge was completed in 1905 as part of Cecil Rhodes' Cape to Cairo railway vision. It spans 198 meters across the Zambezi Gorge, 128 meters above the river. Designed by Sir Ralph Freeman, it's a steel arch bridge used for rail, road, and foot traffic.

Zimbabwe side weather: Similar to Zambia but slightly hotter in summer. January-March: 25-30°C with rain. April-June: 15-25°C, dry. July-September: 10-25°C, cool nights. October-December: 25-35°C, becoming rainy. The microclimate near the falls is always humid.

It depends: Zimbabwe has more viewpoints and better overall views. Zambia offers unique experiences like Devil's Pool and closer waterfall access. Most visitors recommend seeing both sides if possible. Zimbabwe is better for first-time visitors wanting comprehensive views.
