Nairobi to Amboseli. Afternoon game drive among the big tuskers with Kilimanjaro behind.
Full Amboseli day — dawn drive for Kilimanjaro views, the Enkongo Narok swamps, Observation Hill and an afternoon Maasai manyatta visit.
Transfer east to Tsavo West. Afternoon at Mzima Springs and the underwater observation chamber; evening drive across the Shetani lava flows.
Morning Tsavo West drive at Ngulia and Poachers Lookout, then into Tsavo East. Afternoon on the Yatta Plateau and the Galana River among the red elephants.
Dawn Tsavo East drive at Lugard Falls, then the long transfer north-west to Lake Nakuru. Afternoon game drive for rhino.
Morning Nakuru drive, then south-west across the Mau escarpment into the Masai Mara. Afternoon game drive.
Full Mara day with a picnic lunch — the Mara River, lion prides, cheetah and leopard. Optional balloon flight.
Second full Mara day in a different sector, plus a Maasai village visit.

February has maximum water flow: The falls are at their most powerful with incredible spray (the "smoke that thunders"). Views may be obscured by mist, but the experience is dramatic. Temperatures are warm (25-30°C) with occasional rain.

The bridge was built from both sides simultaneously, meeting perfectly in the middle. Construction took 14 months (1904-1905) using steel shipped from England. The arch was assembled on falsework and then dropped into place - a remarkable engineering feat for its time.
Victoria Falls Bridge was completed in 1905 as part of Cecil Rhodes' Cape to Cairo railway vision. It spans 198 meters across the Zambezi Gorge, 128 meters above the river. Designed by Sir Ralph Freeman, it's a steel arch bridge used for rail, road, and foot traffic.
Zimbabwe side weather: Similar to Zambia but slightly hotter in summer. January-March: 25-30°C with rain. April-June: 15-25°C, dry. July-September: 10-25°C, cool nights. October-December: 25-35°C, becoming rainy. The microclimate near the falls is always humid.
It depends: Zimbabwe has more viewpoints and better overall views. Zambia offers unique experiences like Devil's Pool and closer waterfall access. Most visitors recommend seeing both sides if possible. Zimbabwe is better for first-time visitors wanting comprehensive views.
