Option 1: Starting from Kasane (Botswana)

Morning – Chobe River Cruise (8:30 AM – 11:30 AM)

8:00 AM – pickup from your Kasane lodge or hotel

Drive to the river jetty (10 minutes)

Board the boat

Set off on a 3-hour river cruise

Cruise along the Chobe River

Spot wildlife from the water:

Large herds of elephants drinking

Buffalo and zebra on the floodplains

Hippos and crocodiles in the water

Antelope: kudu, impala, waterbuck

African fish eagles and kingfishers

Drinks and light snacks served on board

Return to the jetty around 11:30 AM

Midday – Lunch Break (11:30 AM – 1:00 PM)

Transfer to a lodge or restaurant

Lunch served (buffet style)

Relax, swim, or enjoy the views

Afternoon – Game Drive in Chobe (1:00 PM – 5:30 PM)

1:00 PM – board an open 4x4 safari vehicle

Enter Chobe National Park

Afternoon game drive – about 4.5 hours

Explore the park's floodplains and woodlands

Search for wildlife:

Elephants and buffalo

Giraffes and zebras

Hyenas

Warthogs and baboons

Various antelope species

Drive along the Chobe Riverfront – best area for sightings

Visit waterholes where animals gather

Stop for sundowner drinks

Watch the sunset over the bush

Exit the park around 5:30 PM

Return to Lodge

Drive back to your Kasane lodge

Arrive around 6:00 PM

End of Full-Day Chobe Safari.

Option 2: Starting from Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

Early Morning – Departure (6:30 AM)

6:30 AM – pickup from your Victoria Falls hotel or lodge

Drive to Kazungula Border (45 minutes)

Cross into Botswana – passport required

Border formalities: 20 to 40 minutes

Continue to Kasane

Arrive around 8:00 AM

Full-Day Activities (Same as Option 1)

8:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Chobe River cruise

11:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Lunch

1:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Afternoon game drive

Late Afternoon – Return to Victoria Falls (5:30 PM)

Exit the park

Drive back to the border

Cross back into Zimbabwe

Continue to Victoria Falls

Arrive at your hotel around 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM

End of Full-Day Chobe Safari (from Victoria Falls).
