What we collect

  • Inquiry and booking details such as your name, email, phone number, country, preferred language, travel dates, destination, traveler count, and message.
  • Account details used for sign-in, including Google-provided profile data such as first name, last name, email address, and locale when you choose Google login.
  • Technical and session data such as IP address, user agent, session key, landing path, referral code, homepage views, cookie preferences, and engagement actions like likes or comments.
  • Comment and review content you choose to submit, together with the name and email address attached to that submission.
  • Email verification results used to reduce invalid contact and booking submissions.

Why we use it

  • To respond to inquiries, prepare quotations, manage bookings, send confirmations, and support travelers before and during travel.
  • To operate login, cart, checkout, password reset, affiliate attribution, and country or language preferences across the site.
  • To verify that submitted email addresses are usable before saving high-value inquiries, booking requests, partner applications, or campaigns.
  • To prevent abuse, reduce duplicate engagement actions, troubleshoot site issues, and keep an audit trail for operational support.

When we share it

  • With lodges, guides, drivers, transfer operators, ticketing partners, or activity suppliers when the data is required to deliver the service you requested.
  • With infrastructure providers such as hosting, email, authentication, analytics, or communication services that support the operation of the website and booking flow.
  • With Google only where you choose Google sign-in or interact with embedded Google services such as the map on the contact page.
  • We do not describe the business as selling personal data. Operational sharing only happens where it is needed to run the service or comply with legal obligations.

How long we keep it

  • Inquiry and booking records are kept for as long as needed to manage the trip, customer support, accounting, dispute handling, and legitimate business record keeping.
  • Cookie-consent records are kept while needed to evidence your most recent choice and operate the consent flow.
  • Marketing-attribution and referral cookies are time-limited, and comment or engagement records are kept until they are removed, moderated, or no longer needed.

Your choices

  • You can choose whether to accept optional cookies, and you can also clear cookies in your browser.
  • You can contact Focus Travel to ask for access, correction, or deletion requests where those requests are compatible with operational, accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal retention needs.
