Trip breakdown

What's included

Accommodation as per tier; all meals from dinner on Day 1 to breakfast on the final day; twice-daily game activities with a licensed guide; park and conservation fees; road transfers; bottled water in the vehicle; airport meet-and-greet.

Best season: Apr–Oct is best overall. Rhino tracking runs year-round but is easier on dry ground May–Oct. Rock art is best photographed in the softer light of the green season. Pace and grading: Moderate. Rhino tracking involves 1–3 hours of walking on uneven ground; some rock-art shelters require a short scramble. Ideal for: Culturally curious travellers, rhino-focused clients, photographers, repeat visitors who have already done Falls-and-Hwange, and anyone wanting Zimbabwe beyond wildlife alone. Accommodation tiers: CLASSIC: budget-friendly park rest camps or basic tented camps. COMFORT: mid-range safari lodges and permanent tented camps, en-suite, pool. LUXURY: high-end concession camps, private plunge pools, private vehicle and guide.

International and domestic airfare; visas and border fees; travel and medical insurance; gratuities to guides and camp staff; premium and imported drinks; optional activities (helicopter flips, rafting, spa, balloon); laundry unless stated; items of a personal nature.
