Lunch at a Falls-side restaurant. Afternoon at leisure or optional curio-market visit. 16:00 transfer to the jetty for a two-hour Zambezi sunset cruise above the Falls, hippo, crocodile and elephant on the banks, drinks and canapés on board. Return to hotel approximately 19:00.

The bridge was built from both sides simultaneously, meeting perfectly in the middle. Construction took 14 months (1904-1905) using steel shipped from England. The arch was assembled on falsework and then dropped into place - a remarkable engineering feat for its time.
Victoria Falls Bridge was completed in 1905 as part of Cecil Rhodes' Cape to Cairo railway vision. It spans 198 meters across the Zambezi Gorge, 128 meters above the river. Designed by Sir Ralph Freeman, it's a steel arch bridge used for rail, road, and foot traffic.
Zimbabwe side weather: Similar to Zambia but slightly hotter in summer. January-March: 25-30°C with rain. April-June: 15-25°C, dry. July-September: 10-25°C, cool nights. October-December: 25-35°C, becoming rainy. The microclimate near the falls is always humid.
