Kazungula border transfer

Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA) serves the Zimbabwe side and Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport (LVI) serves Livingstone, Zambia. Both have basic facilities including currency exchange, car rentals, and transfers to hotels. VFA has recently been upgraded with improved terminals and amenities.

Packages usually include: Accommodation, airport transfers, some meals, guided tours of the falls, and selected activities. Prices range from $500-$3000+ per person for 3-7 nights. Some include safaris to nearby parks like Chobe or Hwange.

Victoria Falls forms the border between Zambia (Northern Province) and Zimbabwe (Matabeleland North Province). The falls themselves are shared, with viewing areas and tourist facilities on both sides of the international border.

Options: Direct flight (1.5 hours, $150-$300), overnight train (24 hours, $50-$150), or bus (15+ hours, $40-$80). Flying is most convenient. Self-drive takes 12+ hours and requires border crossings.

Direct flights take 3.5 hours (around $200-$400). Alternatively, fly via Johannesburg (4+ hours total). Self-drive is 2000+ km and takes 2-3 days with border crossings.
