Chobe National Park

The elephant capital of Africa.

About this place

Chobe holds an estimated 120,000 elephant — the densest concentration on the continent. The Chobe river frontage in the north of the park is the focal point: herds come to drink at sunset, hippos pile up in the shallows, and crocodiles patrol the shore. The most popular Chobe trip is actually a day-trip from Victoria Falls via Kasane.

Combo packages (e.g., bungee + swing + zipline) can save 15–25%.

Park entry fees are typically separate: Victoria Falls rainforest ~$30–$50 (Zim), ~$20–$30 (Zam). Transfers between Livingstone and Victoria Falls run about $30–$50.

Yes, popular combinations include: Victoria Falls + Chobe National Park (Botswana), Victoria Falls + Hwange National Park (Zimbabwe), or Victoria Falls + Kruger Park (South Africa). Package tours typically last 5-10 days.
