Nairobi to Amboseli. Afternoon game drive among the big-tusker elephants with Kilimanjaro behind; sunset from Observation Hill.
Dawn Amboseli game drive for clear Kilimanjaro views, then transfer east to Tsavo West. Afternoon at Mzima Springs, where 250 million litres of filtered Chyulu Hills rainwater surface daily, viewed from an underwater hippo and fish observation chamber. Evening game drive across the Shetani lava flows.
Morning game drive in Tsavo West — the Chyulu Hills, the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary and Poachers Lookout — then transfer into Tsavo East. Afternoon game drive on the Yatta Plateau and along the Galana River among the park's distinctive red-dust elephants.
Dawn Tsavo East game drive at Lugard Falls and Aruba Dam, then brunch and the transfer to Nairobi or on to Mombasa and the coast.

February has maximum water flow: The falls are at their most powerful with incredible spray (the "smoke that thunders"). Views may be obscured by mist, but the experience is dramatic. Temperatures are warm (25-30°C) with occasional rain.

The bridge was built from both sides simultaneously, meeting perfectly in the middle. Construction took 14 months (1904-1905) using steel shipped from England. The arch was assembled on falsework and then dropped into place - a remarkable engineering feat for its time.
Victoria Falls Bridge was completed in 1905 as part of Cecil Rhodes' Cape to Cairo railway vision. It spans 198 meters across the Zambezi Gorge, 128 meters above the river. Designed by Sir Ralph Freeman, it's a steel arch bridge used for rail, road, and foot traffic.
Zimbabwe side weather: Similar to Zambia but slightly hotter in summer. January-March: 25-30°C with rain. April-June: 15-25°C, dry. July-September: 10-25°C, cool nights. October-December: 25-35°C, becoming rainy. The microclimate near the falls is always humid.
It depends: Zimbabwe has more viewpoints and better overall views. Zambia offers unique experiences like Devil's Pool and closer waterfall access. Most visitors recommend seeing both sides if possible. Zimbabwe is better for first-time visitors wanting comprehensive views.
