Best season: Jun to Oct across the southern legs. September is peak migration and safari season in East Africa, so early confirmation is strongly recommended.
Pace and grading: Moderate. This is a fast moving five country programme with several border crossings and internal flights.

Arrive Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. Driver-guide transfer along the Panorama Route, taking in God’s Window, the Three Rondavels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Lisbon Falls and the historic gold-rush village of Pilgrim’s Rest. Overnight Blyde River Canyon.
Transfer to Kruger Gate along the Panorama Route, with the remaining highlights en route and the Graskop Gorge Lift. Check in at the gateway to Kruger National Park.
Transfer into Kruger National Park. Afternoon guided open-vehicle game drive tracking the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo. Park conservation fees included.
Morning guided open-vehicle game drive. Afternoon at leisure to use the lodge facilities, then transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport for the onward flight to Zimbabwe.
Arrive Victoria Falls International Airport and transfer to the lodge. Time to rest and freshen up, followed by an evening sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
Guided walk of Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwean side, entrance included. Free time for optional activities such as a helicopter flight, bungee or rafting. In the evening, the Boma dinner and drum show, with traditional cuisine and a cultural performance, and a return transfer to the hotel.
Cross-border day trip to Livingstone, with the KAZA UniVisa covering both crossings. Livingstone Museum and heritage tour, a traditional village community tour, and a guided rhino walk for a close encounter with white rhino. Return to Victoria Falls.
A leisure day at the lodge. Pool, gardens and riverside views, with spa treatments or independent activities optional.
Transfer from Victoria Falls to Kasane. Full-day Chobe National Park open-vehicle game drive through Big Five country with the world’s highest elephant density, then an afternoon Chobe River boat game cruise. Overnight Chobe.
Depart Kasane and fly to Tanzania. Transfer to the lodge, then an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti, home of the Great Wildebeest Migration and its river crossings.
Full-day game drive in the Serengeti. Big cat tracking for lion, cheetah and leopard, and migration river crossings in peak season. Park fees included.
Transfer from the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Full-day game drive on the crater floor, a closed ecosystem holding black rhino, flamingo and hippo pools. Conservation area fees included.
Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport with a tour manager escort for the international departure.

El puente de las Cataratas Victoria se completó en 1905 como parte de la visión ferroviaria del Cabo a El Cairo de Cecil Rhodes. Clima en Zimbabwe: similar al de Zambia, pero un poco más caluroso en verano. Enero-marzo: 25-30°C con lluvia. Abril-junio: 15-25°C, seco. Julio-septiembre: 10-25°C, noches frescas. Octubre-diciembre: 25-35°C, volviéndose lluvioso. El microclima cerca de las cataratas es siempre húmedo.
Depende: Zimbabwe tiene más puntos de vista y mejores opiniones generales. Zambia ofrece experiencias únicas como Devil's Pool y un acceso más cercano a la cascada. La mayoría de los visitantes recomiendan ver ambos lados si es posible. Zimbabwe es mejor para quienes visitan por primera vez y desean vistas completas.
